Cooking With Ashley: Fantastic Cookies

Hey guys! I am so excited to be blogging for My Creative Way! I am going to be showing you how to make Jumbo Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookies...quite a mouthful right? So are these cookies!

First, gather your ingredients:

-4 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
-2 teaspoons baking soda
-2 cups butter (4 sticks) of butter, softened (No, that was not a typo...you will be using a lot of butter. Trust me, it's worth it)
-1 1/2 cups packed brown sugar
-1/2 cup white sugar
-2 3.4 ounce packages instant vanilla pudding mix (this keeps the cookies moist)
-4 eggs
-2 teaspoons vanilla extract
-4 cups semisweet chocolate chips
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.

Sift together flour and baking soda. Set aside.

In a large bowl cream together the butter, brown sugar, and white sugar using an electric mixer. Beat in the vanilla pudding mix until blended.

Stir in the eggs and vanilla.

Add this to the flour mixture and blend together.

Finally stir in the chocolate chips.

Drop cookies by small handful onto an ungreased cookie sheet.

Bake for 10-12 minutes

When you take them out of the oven immediately place them on a cooling rack, wax paper, or aluminum foil. If left on the cookie sheet they will continue to cook and they may get too crispy.

Now it is time to get a glass of milk and enjoy one of these fantastic cookies.

Thank you for "Cooking With Ashlee" and I cannot wait to blog again.
