Candyland Decorations

I made these lollipop decorations out of wooden dowels, paper plates, cellophane, and curly ribbon.
I got 6 wooden dowels and spray painted them white. Then I taped two paper plates together leaving a hole to slide the wooden dowel in. I covered the paper plates with cellophane and tied at the bottom of the plates around the wooden dowel.

Then I made some little candies to hang from the ceiling. Just punch a hole at the top and add some string or fishing wire.

What other candies do you think I could make for the Candyland party??

  2. Those are so cute! You could color (or have Maddie color them) on the plates and use clear cellophane to have unique candies! That would even be a neat activity to do during the party (for the kids).. then they could each take home a candy!

  9. Thank you! I recommend getting it online. Maybe ebay or google it and find it cheeper than what I paid. I bought it at Party City and it added up fast. I spent way to much money on the cellophane but it was worth it :)
